Lavender Orange Syrup
Author note: This syrup is sweet and fresh. It pairs nicely with iced tea, cocktails or sparkling water.
1 cup water
¼ cup fresh orange juice
1 cup sugar
5 lavender branches
- In a small pan, bring the water, juice and sugar to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the lavender.
- Steep the lavender for five minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a sieve into bowl. Store the syrup in the fridge in an airtight container.
