Cilantro Mint Cooler
1 1/2 cups of cilantro, somewhat packed
1 1/2 cups of mint, somewhat packed
3 cups of ice cold water
1/2 cup of lemon ginger simple syrup (click here for recipe)
1 ounces of rum (optional)
squeeze of lemon
- Place the cilantro, mint and water into a blender (or a food processor) and blend until the herbs are thoroughly pureed.
- Strain the water from the herbs into a pitcher.
- Add the syrup and stir well to combine.
- Place ice into individual glasses, top with rum (if using), cilantro mint cooler and a squeeze of lemon. Stir and serve.
