Red, White and Blue Waffle Cake

If you are needing something quick with an easy clean-up, use frozen waffles instead of homemade waffles. This recipe can be served as breakfast or as a dessert any time of the day.

Ingredients

  • cooked waffles, slightly cooled.
  • white frosting
  • fresh raspberries
  • fresh blueberries
  • optional maple syrup

Instructions

  • On a serving plate, stack the waffles, layering white frosting and fresh berries between each waffle.
  • Top the waffle cakes with a layer of frosting and fresh berries. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature with or without maple syrup.
