Cognac Old Fashioned

6 splashes of Angostora Bitters

2 tablespoons water

1 large ice cube (or 3 to 4 regular sized ice cubes)

2 ounces Cognac

splash of Grand Marnier

  1. Pour the sugar into a flat bottomed glass. Top with the bitters and water. Stir until most of the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Place the ice cube into the glass and top with the cognac and Grand Marnier. Stir well. Serve chilled.

  1. Thanks for telling us about old fashioned cognac here. I wonder if I can use this in the kitchen to make some really good food. I’ve seen people make good food with cognac so that is why I ask this question to you.
